Browse songs and monologues

Choose Songs or Monologues from the sidebar. Each opens its own curated browse page and requires Premium access. On Free, these pages show a locked access card; My Materials itself remains included on Free.

Use Search titles, creators, or characters, then choose one or more Voice type chips such as Soprano, Mezzo, Tenor, or Bass. Open More filters for Voices (Solo, Duet, Trio, or Ensemble), Character age, Character role, Character qualities, Genre, Style, Tempo, Era, Mood, Theme, and Curator name. Matching phrases in your search are interpreted automatically under Searching keywords automatically.

Use Sort to order results by Show, Song Title, Year, or Recently Added.

Use Search titles, playwrights, or characters and the Contemporary or Classical era chips. More filters adds Gender identity, Genre, Age range, Race, Character role, Length, Language and form, Year published, Mood, Character qualities, Explicit content, Theme, and Curator name. Sort by Play, Playwright, Year, Length, or Recently Added.

Open a result to review its character, play and playwright attribution, audition-fit details, and any available preview or official script source. Since August 2026, an in-copyright piece may show a Text preview with a Buy the play link instead of the full text — use this catalog for discovery, not guaranteed complete text.

When a song card has a play button, select it to start the available audio preview. The now-playing bar stays at the bottom while you browse, with play or pause and dismiss controls. On desktop, it also provides seeking and elapsed time. Spotify previews are labeled Preview via Spotify; preview availability varies by song.

Select the heart on a song or monologue card, or in its detail panel. If you have one list, the heart toggles that list directly; with several lists, Save to lists lets you choose where the piece belongs. Song and monologue lists are repertoire buckets in My Materials, where you can continue organizing pieces even on Free.
