Get notified about what matters
Choose which updates appear in stageready and by email, then review important application dates and requirements from one notification center.
- 1
Choose a channel for each update
Open Settings, then choose Notifications. Each row has an In-app switch and, when email is available, a separate Email switch. Change one channel without changing the other: for example, keep an update in your notification center while leaving it out of your inbox.
Preferences are grouped by purpose, so the rows you see can vary with your account and connected workspace.

- 2
Turn on the updates that protect your timeline
Three notification types are especially useful while you build an application plan:
- Submission date updates — when stageready finds new or changed dates for applications you track.
- Requirements availability — when audition or prescreen requirements are posted for your application cycle.
- Compare requirements — when audition requirements are posted for a program on your Compare table.
The first two are under Tasks and dates; the third is under Compare. Set the In-app and Email switches for each one independently.

- 3
Check new activity from the bell
The bell in the app header shows a badge when you have unread notifications. Open it for a quick panel, then switch between Unread and All. You can mark one item as read or unread, or use Mark all as read to clear the unread list.
Date and requirement notifications include direct actions such as Review dates, Review requirements, or View requirements, so you can move straight to the affected application or Compare table.

- 4
Use the full notification center
Choose the full-screen icon in the bell panel, or open Notifications, for the complete notification center. It keeps the same Unread and All views and read-state controls in a roomier layout. Use Preferences at the top to return directly to your notification settings.

- 5
Receive one combined program-updates email
When relevant updates are ready, stageready can combine submission-date changes and newly available requirements into one program-updates email. Updates from Submissions and Compare appear as sections of the same message, with direct links to review each item.
You receive at most one of these combined emails per day. The three Email switches still work independently: a section is included only when its notification type is enabled. If only dates or only requirements need attention, the message uses the matching single-purpose subject instead.
