Compare prescreen requirements

Place programs side by side so monologue, song, dance, and portfolio requirements are easier to compare at a glance.

    Open the comparison table

    Open Compare and stay on the Compare Table tab. The switcher at the start of the toolbar shows your current table and view — use it to create, rename, or delete additional compare tables when you want a separate set of programs alongside this one. Each row represents one school and program, with its concentration when applicable, under the sticky College & Program column. Choose Programs to open Select programs, then add programs from Applications, a saved list, or All Schools.

    Pick a template, then save a view

    Open the switcher at the start of the toolbar to browse Built-in templates, each with a different column mix:

    • Prescreen Requirements — Voice, Acting, and Dance, including Ballet, Wild Card, and Additional, plus Slate, Framing, and a requirements link.
    • Audition Requirements — audition and callback materials, including Audition Voice, Audition Dance, and Audition Format, plus a requirements link.
    • Application Details — Prescreen status, Degree, Audition Format, and MTCP Options, including deadlines, app fees, official links, Questions, and Status Notes.
    • Video Requirements — Slate and Framing, including Upload Notes, together with Voice, Acting, and Dance requirements.
    • Working Notes — custom Notes, Faculty, and Visit Notes columns.

    Built-in template previews are read-only. Choose Save as a view to create your own editable copy, where you can edit cells and columns and add your own notes.

    Manage the table with Table actions

    Open Table actions — the button marked with three dots — for Manage columns once you are on a saved view, plus Share or export and Print. Once you have saved a view of your own, the same switcher also offers Duplicate view so you can branch off it.

    Check freshness and review changes

    When requirement columns are visible, a program row can show a green badge for your current entry cycle or an amber badge for older requirements; hover over an older badge for context and confirm details at the official source. If stageready data changes beneath a cell you customized, the banner lets you review the change (or changes) before deciding what to keep. Each flagged cell then lets you choose Use updated value or Keep mine.

    To hear when requirements are posted for a program on this table, turn on Compare requirements in Settings → Notifications.
