Aspire College Auditions

Aspire is a 5-month, all-inclusive coaching program designed to guide students through every stage of the musical theatre college audition process with structure, clarity, and individualized support. From repertoire selection and performance coaching to supplemental materials, audition preparation, and final decision consultations, Aspire provides a comprehensive framework that supports both students and families. The program also includes mock auditions, college faculty webinars, monthly parent/student webinars, and ongoing resources to ensure students feel fully prepared and confident throughout their journey.

Aspire is led by Owner and Director Julie Kavanagh, a performer and coach with over a decade of experience guiding students and families through the musical theatre college audition process. Julie brings a unique perspective shaped by both her own experience navigating the audition world and her continued professional performance career, which includes three Broadway First National Tours (Mrs. Doubtfire, Hello, Dolly!, and La Cage Aux Folles), regional theatre work across the country, and roles as a performer, understudy, dance captain, and assistant choreographer. In addition to her performance career, she has spent years working closely with young artists in studios and rehearsal rooms, and Aspire is where all of these passions and experiences come together.

Our coaching team includes BFA graduates, Broadway and TV performers, dance captains, and college audition experts who have successfully navigated both the training and professional performance worlds. Together, we bring firsthand insight from every angle of the industry—auditioning, performing, and experience behind the table — to help students feel prepared, confident, and supported at every step of their journey.
