Submission Specifications
•Single camera, may be unedited
•Professional recording not required — a basic home recording will suffice
•Video and recording quality must allow clear viewing of your presentation
Additional Materials
PART 1 — GETTING TO KNOW YOU (5 min, online only)
•Brief personal introduction video
PART 2 — ORAL PRESENTATION (3 min)
•An oral presentation about one or more of the following:
-Experience in producing, stage managing, designing or building costumes, sets, props, lights, sound, or video for live performance
-A design portfolio showcasing original work in costumes, sets, lighting or props (drawings, photographs, painting)
-Organized documentation of your own art or craft work (drawings, photographs, costumes, props, sets, paintings, furniture, metalwork)
-Paperwork from a Production or Stage Management role (call script, schedules, budgets, blocking charts)
-Media samples of audio or video design for live performance

What's The Process
PRESENTATION FORMAT
•In-person presentations typically held in February/March on campus
•Video presentation option available for applicants living far from the university
ONLINE SUBMISSIONS
•Students choosing online will provide a video link
•On-campus presenters will appear on their chosen date and time
•More information provided through the supplementary evaluation system during booking

•First-year students may join the Introduction to Production Practicum as apprentice crew heads on Theatre@York productions
