ADMISSION PROCESS
•Students apply to Yale College, NOT directly to TDPS
•Once admitted to Yale, students may meet the department at Bulldog Days or a TDPS Information Session
•Declare TDPS major after enrollment (typically sophomore year)
•No audition, interview, or supplemental materials needed — no performance reels accepted
•Admission is based on Yale's holistic academic review
PREREQUISITES FOR MAJOR
•TDPS 1000: Collaboration (formerly THST 110)
•TDPS 1001: Modes of Performance (formerly THST 111)
•Both taken as a two-semester sequence, typically freshman year
•Term courses may be taken concurrently with prerequisites
