Training
•Eighteen-hour Music Performance minor combines music theory and aural skills with four credits of private lessons
•Six ensemble credits may come from University Chorus, Concert Choir, Gospel Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Chamber Music, Chamber Orchestra, or Jazz Orchestra
Performance & Productions
•Students perform in at least four department recitals and may present an optional final-semester recital
•Applied examinations document progress at the end of each semester of lessons
•Three semesters of recital attendance reinforce exposure to live performance
