•Intensive conservatory training combined with the opportunities of a large university
•Curriculum draws from both the School of Theatre and Dance and the School of Music — covering acting, dance, vocal training, stage production, and career management
•Faculty and guest artists include Tony Award and Academy Award nominees
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•Perform in as many as 15 productions during your time at WVU
•5 unique theatres for a variety of learning and performance settings
•WVU Lab Theatre — a launchpad for student productions
•Opportunities to work with West Virginia Public Theatre
NOTABLE ALUMNI
•Kathleen Noone — Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress (Outstanding Supporting Actress, 1987); best known for her long-running role as Ellen Shepherd on All My Children (1977–1989), also appeared on Knots Landing and Sunset Beach
•Chris Sarandon — Oscar-nominated actor (Dog Day Afternoon); appeared in WVU musical productions including The Music Man; Broadway credits include The Rothschilds and Two Gentlemen of Verona
