•Two short combinations of different styles as separate clips
•Should demonstrate contrast in dance style

•No tumbling, dance team, cheerleading, or tap routines

•Dance faculty conduct a placement class at the beginning of fall semester to assess dance technique proficiency for all new dance majors

DEAN'S MERITORIOUS SCHOLARSHIP (DMS)
•In-state: $1,000–$3,000 per year
•Out-of-state: $13,998 per year (includes out-of-state tuition waiver)

MARY HOWEY-DECKLE SCHOLARSHIP
•Covers full cost of tuition
