Program Recognition
•Bullet: The Theatre & Dance Department is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST) and the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD).
Training
•Bullet: Students work onstage and backstage in two campus theatres across performance, design/technology, choreography, stage management, and directing.
•Bullet: The department produces 4–6 main-stage productions each season and offers a Senior Capstone Production with roles for performers, designers, and directors.
•Bullet: Internship and independent-study opportunities extend production learning beyond regular coursework.
Professional Development
•Bullet: Alpha Psi Omega, the Wenonah Players Theatre Club, and Dance Society give students additional ways to practice leadership, collaborate, and stay active in campus arts.
•Bullet: Graduates have worked with organizations including Great River Shakespeare Festival, The Guthrie Theater, New York City Ballet, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Central City Opera, and National Theatre for Children.
