Program Recognition
•The Theatre & Dance Department is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST) and the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD).
Training
•Students work onstage and backstage in two campus theatres across performance, design/technology, choreography, stage management, and directing.
•The department produces 4–6 main-stage productions each season and offers a Senior Capstone Production with roles for performers, designers, and directors.
•Internship and independent-study opportunities extend production learning beyond regular coursework.
Professional Development
•Alpha Psi Omega, the Wenonah Players Theatre Club, and Dance Society give students additional ways to practice leadership, collaborate, and stay active in campus arts.
•Graduates have worked with organizations including Great River Shakespeare Festival, The Guthrie Theater, New York City Ballet, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Central City Opera, and National Theatre for Children.
