Audition Requirements
Monologues
ONE CONTEMPORARY MONOLOGUE, 1 min max
•Select from a modern prose play (no dialect)
•Monologue from a musical is also acceptable
Songs
ONE BROADWAY SONG, 32 bars max
•Select a vocal selection from a Broadway musical
•No longer than 32 bars in length
•An accompanist will be available but will not transpose
•Recorded accompaniment may also be used
Dance
DANCE AUDITION
•Bring comfortable clothes for a dance audition
•Be prepared to demonstrate movement ability
Additional Materials
HEADSHOT (required)
•Bring a headshot to the audition or interview

ELIGIBILITY
•Must meet undergraduate admissions requirements
•Minimum 2.0 high school GPA and 20 ACT or 1030 SAT
ENROLLMENT
•120 credit hours for BFA degree
•Majority of courses delivered in-person with select virtual/hybrid options

AUDITION FORMAT
•Schedule an audition by contacting the theatre office
•In-person auditions held on campus at Joe and Virginia Tatum Theatre
•Video submissions are also accepted
VIDEO SUBMISSION
•Submit a video including monologue, song, and movement sample
