Monologues
One Monologue
•Record one monologue from a theatrical play
•Keep the monologue between 2 and 2.5 minutes
•Do not use a film monologue
•Avoid extreme characterizations; simple hand props are allowed, but costumes and elaborate props are not
•Apply to Whittier before submitting the Creative Arts Scholarship application
•Use Whittier's scholarship portal to provide the YouTube link and headshot
Transfer Pathway
BA Theatre and Communication Arts applicants who earn a California Community College AA-T or AS-T can receive guaranteed admission and junior standing through Whittier's ADT Commitment; the published page does not provide a separate major-course map.
