Audition Process
•Bullet: Westminster holds Music Scholarship & Admission Audition Days in the fall and spring
•Bullet: Students may schedule an in-person audition through the School of Music audition request form
•Bullet: Auditions may be scheduled on different dates at the discretion of the music faculty
•Bullet: Remote auditions are available for applicants who live more than 100 miles from campus
Remote Option
•Bullet: Record one continuous performance and share an unlisted YouTube, Google Drive, or Dropbox link, or mail a DVD to the School of Music
•Bullet: A live Skype or FaceTime video conference may be scheduled instead of a recorded submission
•Bullet: Remote applicants complete the Online Music Theory Diagnostic Test and schedule an Aural Skills Diagnostic Test by Skype, FaceTime, or phone
•Bullet: The remote audition is not complete until the Online Music Theory Diagnostic Test is complete
Post-Enrollment
•Bullet: Students may enter the performance major provisionally during the first semester
•Bullet: A faculty jury at the end of the first semester decides whether the student qualifies to continue as a performance major
