Training
•AFA Music develops traditional notation, aural dictation, keyboard competency, and applied performance skills.
•The current curriculum includes primary and secondary applied music lessons plus instrumental or vocal ensemble participation across four semesters.
Performance & Productions
•Students can participate in Collegiate Chorale, Cougar Rock Band, Fire in the Pan Swingers, Varsity Vocalise, and Western Nebraska Winds.
Professional Development
•The 60-credit AFA is designed to prepare students for transfer and advanced music study at a four-year college or university.
