Training
•Hands-on coursework in acting, directing, playwriting, costumes, props, and set design
•Two-year suggested course sequence covering History of World Theater, Beginning and Intermediate Acting, Script Analysis, Play Production, and Introduction to Design for the Theater
•Additional electives in Movement for the Theater, Acting for Film and Television, and Playwriting
•Ballet Techniques 1 integrated into degree requirements
Performance & Productions
•Play Production courses (Theater 231, 232, 233) provide practical stagecraft experience each semester
•Students participate in all aspects of production including performance, technical, and design roles

•Located in Culver City, adjacent to major film and television studios

•$0 tuition for eligible students via LA College Promise Program
Degree Flexibility
•Coursework aligns with CSU and UC lower-division major requirements for Theater
•Students can transfer to a four-year university to complete a BA or BFA in Theater
