OPTIONAL THEATRE PORTFOLIO MATERIALS
•Actors/Directors: ~10 minutes of performance video with verbal slate (name, selection, author)
-May submit excerpts from different productions
-Include document explaining your role, production date, theatre group, and relevant information
-Select pieces demonstrating range and contrasting performance styles
•Playwrights: short script or one-act play excerpt
•Set Designers: working drawings plus photographs of designed sets
•Costume Designers: working drawings plus photographs of designed costumes
•All applicants: arts resume listing theatre activities, lessons, courses, performances, and awards
•A theatre instructor recommendation may be submitted as an "other" recommender

What's The Process
ADMISSION PROCESS
•No audition or interview required — admission is through the university application
•Program is open to all admitted Wellesley students
•Declare the Theatre Studies major after enrollment
OPTIONAL ARTS PORTFOLIO
•Applicants with theatre talent may submit an optional arts portfolio for departmental review
•Submit via the Wellesley Applicant Portal within one week of your application deadline
•Portfolios are not accepted through Common App or Coalition App
•Do not mail physical materials — submissions sent by mail will not be reviewed or returned
