•Should showcase variety and caliber of work in fine arts or theatre

•Evidence of work in carpentry, electronics, mechanics, scenic construction

•Complete Interview and Portfolio Review Request form and submit $30 fee

•Audition coordinator contacts you to schedule

Important Notes

•Must be academically accepted before portfolio review results are released

•In-person meetings preferred — virtual available in extenuating circumstances

•Interviews and portfolio reviews can also be scheduled during Unified Auditions in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles

•Interviews at Thespian Festivals and similar events may count as full evaluations

•You will discuss your submitted portfolio and why you wish to pursue this discipline

•Limit materials to your best work so you can clearly articulate your creative process

•Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts awards over $225,000 annually in theatre-specific scholarships

•Most awards reserved for third- and fourth-year students, with some available to first-year students

•No separate application — awards determined in consultation with recruiting faculty and Office of Financial Aid
