OPTION 1: TWO CONTRASTING SONGS, 1 min max each

Two contrasting songs (1 minute maximum each)
Paired with one contemporary monologue

OPTION 2: ONE SONG, 1 min max

One song (1 minute maximum)
Paired with one contemporary monologue and one dance piece
Monologues

ONE CONTEMPORARY MONOLOGUE, 1 min max

One contemporary monologue (1 minute maximum)
Required under both audition options
Dance

OPTION 2 ONLY: ONE DANCE PIECE, 1 min max

One dance piece (1 minute maximum)
Only required if choosing Option 2 (song + monologue + dance)
Not required if choosing Option 1 (two songs + monologue)

What's The Process

AUDITION FORMAT

Audition is required for acceptance into Musical Theatre (new policy starting 2025-2026)
Must also audition to be considered for theatre-specific scholarships
Two audition options available — choose one:
-Option 1: Two contrasting songs + one contemporary monologue
-Option 2: One song + one contemporary monologue + one dance piece

HOW TO AUDITION

Option 1: Attend the on-campus audition day
Option 2: Submit a virtual audition via the Airtable submission form

VIRTUAL SUBMISSION

Deadline: Friday, October 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Upload headshot, resume, and audition videos via the submission form

UTAH UNIFIED AUDITIONS

If participating in Utah Unified Auditions, no separate submission required — WSU faculty attend this event
