Application Logistics

Apply and be admitted to WSC, then log in to the WSC scholarship portal

Mark that you are interested in music (music major not required)

Music scholarship application deadline: February 1, 2026

Rolling admissions

Upper-Division Jury

All music majors declare a primary performance area and complete four semesters of 100-level applied lessons

A qualifying jury audition before a faculty panel is required to advance to 300-level applied study

Audition Process

No audition is required for admission to this music program

Audition is for music scholarship consideration only

You do not need to be a music major to receive a music scholarship

Must apply and be admitted to WSC before applying for music scholarships

Audition Expectations

In-person auditions held in Peterson Fine Arts Building

Recording option available if unable to attend in person

Audition time will be sent by email

Prepare one or two pieces from standard contest repertoire for instrument or voice (no popular music)
