What's The Process
ADMISSION PROCESS
•No audition required to declare a Drama major
•Students must first be admitted to the University of Washington
DECLARING THE MAJOR
•Requires completion of Drama 201 (Plays and Styles) with a grade of 2.50 or higher
•Intended drama majors must meet with the Drama Advisor and add their name to the intended majors list

Scholarship Info
SCHOOL OF DRAMA SCHOLARSHIPS
•Available to current undergraduate and graduate drama majors
•Application deadline: April 19, 2026 (for 2026-2027 academic year)
•Requires 3.0 overall GPA and 3.5 departmental GPA (students below these thresholds may still apply or be faculty-nominated)
•Multiple named scholarships available based on merit, talent, financial need, and contribution to the School
