Repertoire List
•Prepare 10-15 minutes of brass or percussion audition repertoire
•Brass general: all major scales, an allegro etude or solo, and a lyrical slow etude or solo
•Horn: two contrasting movements or two contrasting etudes (Gallay, Kopprasch, or Maxime-Alphonse)
•Trombone, euphonium, tuba: major scales plus a solo piece or two contrasting etudes from the standard repertoire
•Percussion: snare drum solo or etude with basic rudiments, a mallet keyboard solo or etude with major scales, and at least one of timpani, drum set, or multiple percussion
Scales & Technique
•All major scales (brass); rudiments and major scales (percussion)
Accompaniment
•Accompanist is not necessary
•Recordings from previous concerts or solo performances may be included
