Dance
IN-PERSON AUDITION
•Ballet barre (pliés with port de bras, tendus and dégagés, fondus, ronds de jambe, développés, frappés, grands battements)
•Ballet center — adagio, waltz with extensions and pirouettes, petit and grand allegro
•Modern/Contemporary combination or improvisation
•Pointe work is optional
•Brief break between Ballet and Modern portions

Submission Specifications
VIDEO AUDITION
•Two options available for video submission
•Option 1: Single video not exceeding 15 minutes covering ballet barre, ballet center, and two modern/contemporary combinations in different styles
•Option 2: Submit a previously recorded video from the current school year (filmed within 6 months) that covers several requirements — director will determine if additional video is needed
VIDEO QUALITY
•Clear video quality in a well-lit space
•If using performance video, ensure you are easily distinguishable from other dancers
•Video must be free from passwords or security protections
•YouTube link preferred

•DANCE RESUME — printed copy for in-person auditions
•HEADSHOT — printed copy for in-person auditions
•1ST ARABESQUE PHOTO — printed copy for in-person auditions

•AUDITION REGISTRATION FORM — complete via Störling Conservatory website
Good to Know
ENROLLMENT
•Rolling admissions with June 30 final deadline
•Fall and spring enrollment available
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
•Official high school transcript with minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
•Two references required: one pastoral and one personal (cannot be related to student)
•Students under 24 must pass the Wonderlic test or submit ACT 18+ or SAT 960+ (taken within 5 years)
•Must read and sign the Visible Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith
What's The Process
AUDITION PROCESS
•Audition is the first step — upon acceptance, students are invited to submit a college entrance application
•Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to audition; studio space available at that time
•Auditions consist of ballet, modern/contemporary, and optional pointe
STUDENT LIFE INTERVIEW
•All Visible Music College applicants must complete a Student Life Interview as part of the admissions process

Scholarship Info
EARLY-BIRD SCHOLARSHIP
•$500 scholarship for students who complete audition, registration, application forms, and $50 fee by February 1 and enroll by April 1
TCH WORKS PROGRAM
•Work-exchange program at The Culture House
•$2,000 off per year (80 hrs/semester, ~5 hrs/week)
•$1,000 off per year (40 hrs/semester, ~2.5 hrs/week)
•$500 off per year (20 hrs/semester, ~1.25 hrs/week)
