•Musical Theater concentration within the BA Theater Arts degree at Vermont State's Castleton campus (~120 credits over four years)
•Triple-threat curriculum pairs the Acting I-IV sequence with Dance for Musical Theater, Musical Theater Workshop, Survey of American Musical Theater, and ongoing Applied Music Lessons
•Music core includes Class Piano I-II, Aural Skills, and Music Theory I, plus University Chorale participation
Performance & Productions
•Students are hands-on with a production every semester for on- and off-campus audiences
•Theater Arts students participate annually in the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in acting, stage management, and design
Professional Development
•Each year Theater Arts students spend a week in New York City or London seeing Broadway or West End shows

•484-seat John and Susan Casella Theater (proscenium with fly system, intelligent lighting, concert sound, and recording equipment) plus a 60-seat Black Box Theater
