Training
•Bullet: 18-credit minor with a minimum of 9 credits at the 300 level or higher; no audition required
•Bullet: Technique coursework (8-10 credits) spans ballet, modern, tap, ballroom, hip hop, West African dance, Pilates and yoga
•Bullet: Theory and creative track (8-10 credits) includes improvisation, composition, dance history, dance in world cultures, screen dance, lighting and sound design, dance criticism and the business of dance
•Bullet: Open to students who have completed at least 6 dance credits at VCU with a 2.0 overall GPA

•Bullet: Eight dance studios with floor-to-ceiling windows, the VCU Dance Center and Depot Annex studio
