Audition Process
•Admission to the BA Dance pathway requires admission to both UWinnipeg and The School of Contemporary Dancers Senior Professional Program.
•SCD admission is by audition for applicants with intermediate classical ballet and/or contemporary dance training.
•Applicants may audition in person or by video application.
•The first audition round uses a January 31, 2026 application/video submission target; applications may be submitted after that if placements remain available.
•The published final 2026/2027 SCD application and video audition review deadline is May 30, 2026.
In-Person Audition
•SCD lists in-person audition dates of February 19 and 20, 2026.
•Applicants participate in two morning audition classes each day and are scheduled for afternoon interviews.
