Post-Enrollment Audition, Interview, and Portfolio Requirements

These requirements are from the Fall 2026 entry cycle. Fall 2027 requirements are typically posted between August and October and usually change only slightly — confirm on the official source before submitting.

No audition, interview, and portfolio is required for the initial application. The optional scholarship review (audition) is separate from the internal audition, interview, and portfolio gate students complete after enrollment.Gateway source

Dance

No audition is required for BS Dance Education degree admittance. Students submit a digital portfolio as part of a student progress evaluation in March of their first year. The catalog matriculation requirements include passing audition, interview, and portfolio review with faculty members.

Additional Materials

Apply academically to UVU and mark BS in Dance Education on the university application. First-year students later complete the digital portfolio/progress evaluation process.
