Program Overview
•60-credit, two-year pre-major degree providing foundational knowledge and skills in dance
•Students pursuing UVU dance bachelor's degrees also fulfill the AS requirements and may apply for the credential
Training
•Coursework includes ballet, modern/contemporary dance, jazz, improvisation, composition, conditioning, and somatic studies
•Builds Level I technique and creative competencies for continued bachelor's study
