ENROLLMENT

•Fall enrollment through the College of Arts and Sciences

•Once accepted to UVM, students may declare Theatre through the registrar

•All UVM students may audition for mainstage productions at Royall Tyler Theatre

•Casting notices with production audition dates are posted in Royall Tyler Theatre and online

ADMISSION PATHWAY

•33 credits in major courses including core theatre, electives, and capstone

•Students may emphasize Performance, Technical Theatre/Design, or History/Criticism through elective choices; no formal concentration is required

What's The Process

AUDITION PROCESS

•No audition or interview required for acceptance into the theatre program

•Admitted through the standard university application to the College of Arts and Sciences

•Once accepted to UVM, students may declare Theatre as their major through the registrar
