Performance & Productions
•Dancing Uphill is an annual spring concert featuring student performers in faculty, guest artist, and student choreography
•Faculty-directed site-specific performances each fall using historic and scenic campus locations
•End-of-semester showcases for independent student works and class projects
•Performances take place in the Michele and Martin Cohen Hall for the Integrative Arts
Professional Development
•Institutional member of American College Dance Association (ACDA)
•Students present original work at ACDA regional conferences each spring
•UVM choreographers are selected for ACDA regional Gala Concerts and National Festival at the Kennedy Center
•Master classes with professional dance artists through partnership with the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts
•Vermont College Dance Exchange is an annual festival with Middlebury, Bennington, and other Vermont colleges
•Ongoing exchange with University of Nebraska-Lincoln dance program
•Dance minor can be paired with any major for interdisciplinary career paths
