•Bullet: Each auditionee will present a 2–3-minute solo performance. The solo may be self-choreographed or choreographed by another individual. If the solo is choreographed by someone other than the auditionee, the student must clearly disclose the choreographer.
•Bullet: Applicants may select any dance style and genre of music that best represents their artistic interests. If music contains lyrics, the lyrics must be clean and appropriate for an academic setting. Silence is also an acceptable option.
•Bullet: The interview is separate from the written BFA application
Decisions
•Bullet: Admission decisions are based on a holistic evaluation and require faculty consensus
