•Generalist Bachelor of Arts in Theatre within UT Knoxville's Department of Theatre
•75-100 students majoring or minoring in the BA program from year to year
•Theatre Minor and Theatre Minor in Musical Theatre also available
TRAINING
•Broad liberal arts curriculum with a 37-hour theatre major requirement
•Students complete theatre foundations plus upper-level electives across performance, design, production, history, and criticism
•Theatre 100 and a drama/Shakespeare literature course are prerequisites for completing the major
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
•Students study and produce work alongside Clarence Brown Theatre, a professional LORT company integrated with the department
•Lab Project Series gives students a route to produce original theatre work
