Program Requirements
•UTEP Department of Music is a National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) accredited institution
•Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology prepares students for careers in music production and the music business, including studio recording and live-sound engineering
•Curriculum includes Music Technology I-III, Applied Audio Production, Intro to Recording Studio, a Capstone Project, and an 18-hour minor
•Students must place into MUSA 1195 Individual Instruction by audition
•Admitted students take a Theory Advancement Test for course placement only — not for admission

•Apply to UTEP through Common App or ApplyTexas
•Complete university admission and scholarship application prior to auditioning (recommended)
