One up-tempo song from the musical theatre repertoire
One ballad from the musical theatre repertoire

Video: may use a live accompanist or recorded track
No a cappella
Monologues

ONE CONTEMPORARY MONOLOGUE, 1:30 max

Comic or dramatic — your choice
Preferably from a play
Dance

ONE MUSICAL THEATRE OR JAZZ COMBINATION, 1-1:30 min

Must include a minimum of one pirouette
Must include some form of developpé or battement
Must include some form of leap or grand jeté

IN-PERSON AUDITIONS

DEPARTMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP

Up to $14,000 over four years ($3,500 per year)
Audition must be submitted by March 1

QUALIFICATIONS

New entering student (fall term entry only)
Experience in high school or community theatre productions
Demonstrated ability in stage movement, acting, and singing
Unweighted high school GPA of 3.0
Must maintain cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
