Audition Requirements

Monologues

TWO CONTRASTING MONOLOGUES

•Each monologue should be under 90 seconds in length

•One monologue should be a character close to your age, personality, and life experience

•One monologue can be Shakespeare, but this is not required

Material Rules

•Monologues must be memorized and selected from produced plays

•No monologues from film, television, or original/self-written work

Additional Materials

Atp Application Checklist

•Current resume with contact info (phone, email, physical mailing address)

•Digital 8x10 HEADSHOT or photograph (JPEG or PNG preferred)

•Names and email addresses for TWO PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES who can attest to academic accomplishments and/or talent, potential, and dedication

•1-2 page LETTER explaining reasons for pursuing a career in acting or musical theatre and career goals
