Eligibility

Minimum 2.75 GPA required

Intended for students with theatre experience and a strong interest in remaining actively involved without committing to a theatre major

A limited number of minors are accepted each year, so early application is advised

Admission requires a separate department application and interview; acceptance is competitive and not guaranteed

Fall, Spring, and Summer start options are currently shown on the department form

What's The Process

Interview Process

Submit the department Application Intention form and supporting materials

Once the USU referral and supporting materials are received, the department may contact selected applicants to schedule an interview

Due to application volume, not every applicant will be interviewed; scheduling may take several weeks

Department Scholarships

David E. Daley & Leona E. Daley Theatre Arts Scholarship: Theatre Arts major/minor; primary criterion is financial need; full-time with 2.2+ undergraduate GPA or 3.0+ graduate GPA

George B. & Marie Eccles Caine Theatre Arts Scholarship: full-time Theatre Arts major, 2.5+ GPA, production participation, and applicants should be prepared to audition/interview
