Minimum 2.75 GPA required for department admission

Cohort-based Fall-only start; the department application form currently lists Fall 2027, Fall 2028, or Fall 2029 entry

What's The Process

Audition Process

Two-step process: apply to USU, then submit supplemental materials to the Department of Theatre Arts

Complete the online Application Intention form on the department website and upload supporting files via Box

Once USU referral and supporting materials are received, department may reach out to schedule an interview

Due to high volume of applications, not every applicant will be interviewed

If selected, scheduling may take several weeks after materials are submitted

David E. Daley & Leona E. Daley Theatre Arts Scholarship: Theatre Arts major/minor; primary criterion is financial need; full-time with 2.2+ undergraduate GPA or 3.0+ graduate GPA

Leonard C. & Dorothy C. Kearl Scholarship in Theatre Arts: declared Theatre Arts major with 3.0+ GPA

Robert & LaRae Williams Scholarship: Theatre Arts student

Orpha Faylor Scholarship: outstanding student in Theatre Arts

Ruth B. Call Memorial Scholarship: graduate or undergraduate Theatre Arts student focused on children's theatre; awarded every other year alternating with W. Vosco Call Scholarship
