Apply through the USC Upstate application or Common App

Select the BA Theatre program; the Performance concentration is part of the published 21-credit theatre group structure

Theatre has no separate program application

Transfer Pathway

USC Upstate publishes a Theatre BA transfer pathway for York Technical College. A completed AA or AS satisfies general education, THEA U170 is the recommended major-specific course, and up to 76 technical-college hours with grades of C or better may count toward the degree.

What's The Process

Admission

No audition or prescreen is required for admission to the BA Theatre Performance concentration

Scholarship Review

The optional Performance Scholarship requires an audition scheduled directly with the Director of Theatre

Published production-casting auditions are participation opportunities after enrollment, not admission requirements
