Dance

Two Solo Dance Routines

•One solo commercial dance routine of your choice (max 90 seconds)

•One solo jazz, street, lyrical, or contemporary routine of your choice (max 90 seconds)

Additional Materials

Headshot (Required)

•Upload a recent headshot during the application process

•Does not need to be a professional photograph

•Register on the Urdang application portal and complete the online form

•Apply via UCAS (institution code C60, course code W590)

Audition Fee

•No fee to audition at Urdang for any student

Supplementary Fee

•Mandatory £300 per year supplementary fee for costume, production, and venue costs (payable after enrollment)

Entry Requirements

•80 UCAS tariff points

•GCSE minimum grade 4 (C) in English Language and Mathematics

•International: IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 each component)

•Contextual offers available for care-experienced and first-in-family applicants

What's The Process

Audition Process

•All first-round auditions are via video

•Submit one unlisted YouTube video containing your introduction and two dance routines

•Confirmation of success, recall, or unsuccessful result within 14 days

•In-person recalls for UK-based applicants are expected between December 2026 and April 2027, usually Wednesdays

•International applicants may attend in person or submit a video

•Choice of recall dates offered after invitation
