Step 1: Apply to UNT via Common App or school website
Step 2: Complete a separate College of Music application via Acceptd (opens September 1)
Step 3: Audition on a scheduled date after faculty review

DEADLINES

November 1 for consideration at the December audition date
December 1 preferred for January and February audition dates
February 15 final deadline for video auditions

What's The Process

SCREENING (REQUIRED)

Video screening is the first round of audition for all voice applicants
Submit via Acceptd after completing UNT and College of Music applications
Videos must include both audio and video, unedited, without artificial audio enhancement
Recordings must be from within the past six months

LIVE AUDITION

Held on campus in Denton, TX on scheduled audition dates
Audition details sent after application submission and faculty review
If all in-person spots are full, a final video audition may be submitted by Feb 15
