•Comprehensive Theatre, BA for students who want broad training across how theatre works onstage and behind the scenes
•Department of Dance and Theatre includes professional actors, directors, designers, theatre educators, and scholars
TRAINING
•45-hour theatre major with an 18-hour theatre core
•Areas of interest allow students to combine acting, design/tech, stage production, theatre history, criticism, and related theatre coursework
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•Students audition for UNT Theatre and Dance productions each semester
•Qualified undergraduates can perform lead roles, direct public productions, stage-manage, and design scenery, costumes, lights, makeup, wigs, and props
FACILITIES
•University Theater (409-seat proscenium) and Studio Theater (160-seat black box)
•Acting and directing studios, rehearsal rooms, costume and scenic shops, and prop design workshops
