Music Education Scholarships
•Six to ten scholarships per year for incoming freshmen or transfer students, $400-$800 per year
•Renewable for up to eight semesters with satisfactory progress
•Criteria: musicianship, desire to teach, communication skill, intellectual ability, leadership potential, self-initiative, mature judgment
•Awarded via the Department of Music audition plus interview, two recommendation letters, GPA, and a 500-800 word essay on music teaching
