•Audition on your principal string instrument (violin, viola, cello, or double bass)
•Violin, Viola, Cello: 2 scales of choice (one major, one minor, 3 octaves); one solo etude of choice; one movement of a concerto, sonata, or concert piece
•Double Bass: 2 scales of choice (one major, one minor, 2 octaves); one solo etude of choice (such as Simandl); one movement of a concerto, sonata, or concert piece
Accompaniment
•Accompaniment is preferred but not required for the string audition
