CFA ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum 26 hours of earned credit
•GPA of at least 2.50 in all hours attempted, or 2.50 in the last 30 hours attempted
•English writing competency (ACT English 26+, SAT Verbal 660+, or completion of qualifying English courses)
•Math competency (ACT Math 22+, SAT Math 540+, or completion of qualifying math courses)
ENROLLMENT
•Applications accepted for fall and spring semesters only
What's The Process
ADMISSION PROCESS
•No audition or portfolio required for admission
•Students must first be admitted to UNM as a university student
•After completing 26 credit hours with a 2.50 GPA, apply for admission to the College of Fine Arts
•Notification by email within 1-3 weeks of CFA application submission

DEPARTMENTAL SCHOLARSHIPS
•All Theatre, Design, and Dance majors eligible for annual scholarships
•Application includes a comprehensive statement expressing research, creative, and educational goals
•Applications due early fall each academic year
