Music Major Entrance Expo
•Four components: Music Showcase, Interview, Music Skills Placement, and References
•In-person at UWRF or virtual via Zoom
•Individual schedules and Zoom links emailed approximately one week prior
Music Showcase
•Perform music live or submit YouTube video recordings
•Options include standard solo literature, etudes, show tunes, personal compositions, improvisation
•May also showcase via leadership videos, compositions/arrangements, or digital media
Interview
•Visit with music faculty about career goals
•Opportunity to elaborate on Music Showcase and ask questions
Music Skills Placement
•Assessment of music fundamentals and aural skills
•Guides placement into appropriate Musicianship and Aural Skills classes
