•Bullet: The Brass performance emphasis centers individual applied instruction on the student's primary brass instrument, supported by theory, aural skills, keyboard study, music literature and history.
•Bullet: Brass players complete the instrumental BM performance pathway and progress into upper-level study on their principal instrument.
Performance
•Bullet: Large and small ensembles place brass musicians in both full-group and chamber settings, while resident and visiting performing artists add further models of professional practice.
•Bullet: The degree prepares students for advanced study and professional performance; UW–Oshkosh reports national, regional and state honors among performance students and graduates entering conservatories, graduate schools, performance and college teaching.
