Training
•Theatre and Performance combines critical study of theatre with hands-on experiential training in performance, directing, design, technical theatre, and production.
•First-year work introduces theatre as a social institution and collaborative performing art and introduces the actor-performer craft.
Performance & Productions
•Students develop production experience in the Leigha Lee Brown Theatre and may participate in annual faculty and student productions.
•The program includes field trips, guest lectures, workshops, study abroad opportunities, and collaborations with working artists.
Degree Flexibility
•UTSC offers a combined HBA plus Master of Teaching pathway with OISE for eligible Theatre and Performance students.
