Training
•TDS combines professional actor training with dramatic literature, theatre history, and a BA Honours academic foundation.
•Students take at least 12 hours a week of studio training every semester with instructors active in theatre and film.
•The program includes on-stage, on-camera, and behind-the-scenes training at UTM.
Performance & Productions
•Third- and fourth-year students perform in public productions as part of an annual season directed by professional theatre makers.
•TDS uses the Erindale Studio Theatre, the Multi-Media Studio Theatre, rehearsal halls, wardrobe, carpentry, and props facilities.
Notable Alumni
•Program graduates work as actors, directors, playwrights, producers, and arts leaders across major Canadian theatres, film, television, and media.
