Repertoire List
•Repertoire varies by instrument; works by underrepresented and/or living composers are encouraged
•Trumpet repertoire: two contrasting solo selections from standard repertoire such as sonatas, concertos, or other solo works; one may be an etude; include one orchestral excerpt from the published collection; prepare three major and three minor scales plus a chromatic scale; sight-reading is included
•Horn repertoire: a performance-introduction piece that represents you; an exposition from Mozart Concerto No. 2, 3, or 4; one prescribed orchestral excerpt; chromatic scale from middle C, slurred from as high to as low as possible
•Trombone repertoire: one solo selection from standard tenor or bass trombone repertoire; one etude from Rochut Melodious Etudes, Book 1; major scales (two octaves) and a chromatic scale for the entire range
•Euphonium repertoire: one solo selection from standard euphonium solo repertoire; one etude; major scales (two octaves) and a chromatic scale for the entire range
•Tuba repertoire: one movement from a concerto, sonata, or similar work; one etude; all major scales (two octaves) and a chromatic scale for the entire range
•Percussion repertoire: concert snare drum solo or etude; two-mallet and/or four-mallet keyboard solo, transcription, or etude; timpani solo or etude
