•Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (ACTF) Region 3 participant
•National Endowment for the Arts-supported programming
TRAINING
•4 mainstage productions annually spanning musicals, dramas, and classics
•Students participate in productions starting freshman year
•All classes taught by professional faculty (never graduate students)
•Summer season launched in 2025
FACILITIES
•All productions staged in the $20 million USI Performance Center with professional lighting, sound, and acoustics
•Mallette Studio Theatre provides an intimate black box space for student-directed work
DEGREE FLEXIBILITY
•51-credit-hour major with 18 hours of electives in acting, musical theatre, or design/technology
•Average class size of 20 students
•60+ study abroad opportunities available
THE REPERTORY PROJECT
•Annual production pairs students with members of the Actors' Equity Association
•Students earn Equity points and gain professional mentorship while enrolled
•Guest artists from New York and regional theatre collaborate on campus
